My family first moved to the Northeast Kingdom long before it was called that. My family farmed the hills of Glover starting in the 1870s. I love Vermont and can’t imagine calling any other place home. I feel connected to the country roads lined with maple trees, the fields of hay and corn, and to the mountains in the distance. This has never been an easy place to make a living but it more than makes up for it with the peace that it brings to you spirit and being connected to a community through many generations.

Sam is a 5th generation Vermonter from the Northeast Kingdom. He served as a State Representative for the towns of Albany, Barton, Craftsbury, Greensboro, Glover, Sheffield and Wheelock in the Vermont Legislature from 2011-2021, serving on both the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development and Ways and Means. Sam has also worked as a web developer for over ten years at his company, Think or Sink.
He and his partner, Heidi Lauren Duke, reside in Greensboro, Vermont, on Lake Caspian. Sam loves Northern Vermont and wants to help you find the place for your home or business. Feel free to put his deep knowledge of NEK communities to work for you.
